It's been more than 2 hours nerve racking wait in the Dubai's car driving test room. The wait for hearing your name to be called to take the driving test. Nothing different, this routine's been on for the past tweleve times already. The heat and constant air condition cooling humming noise was no different from the past, each one's face in the room tells a story of how many repeated attempts one had. Stories of past failures and challenges they went through. I knew the actual driving test would just be a matter of few minutes and most likely decision of "Fail" would be the stamp on the test paper. Thus preparing myself having to repeat the process all over again for a next time.

As I was waiting and scanning the surrondings, I had some time to ponder and my thoughts for no particular reason got our beloved Brother's song "Arayum Bhyapedila ngaan, Arayum Bhayapedila njaan." It came by just like that and I felt it came to me just in the appropriate time. Most of the verses came to me as I was humming this song away in my head. Picturing every scenario that had gone by in my previous road tests and how this time too I will be repeating the same. Suddenly heard my name called out, and now it was time for action. Got close to the driving test car and still I could hear this song going on in my head "Arayum Bhyapedila ngaan, Arayum Bhyapedila Ngaan. Got in the driving test car and the instructor beside me a very reserved person, I did not hear much word other than right, left and straight. My driving skills were no better than any previous tests I had taken, however this time I found, I was handling the driving test more confidently. I got to drive a little more than 7 minutes with couple of left and right turns, junction crossing and I was satisfied on getting more time to drive the test car from my precious attempt, most of them had not crossed the 3 minutes limit.

All this while our inspector was just scribbling along in my test paper. The usual error "approcahing roundabout" was common factor in all my past test papers. At the end of the test - he gave me the paper and he handed me the paper marked "Passed". He was a man of few words so did not say much. I said my biggest Thank you, was not able to express my burst of happiness and anxiousness. Again sitting in the waiting room to collect my license which more or less was like a dream come true for me. I don't believe I did anything different from my past test and the only addition was this beautiful song of our Brother had given me, "Arayum Bhayapedila ngaan, Arayum Bhayapedila ngaan, Yehovayam Jeevan balaam, Arayum Bhapedila ngaan." Definitly the confidence I got on handing this fdriving test was putting my mind at ease was with this song. All praise and Glory be to God Almighty who has used our Brother Dr. Mathews Vergis in giving us these exceptional songs of joy, praise and strength. My prayers and best wishes on this milestone God has given him and hopefully more to come.
